NEET 2018 Application Form, Eligibility Criteria, Exam Dates, Syllabus.

It is the national level examination for admissions into medical & dental UG courses offered by various government and private medical colleges which organized by CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) across the country. NEET 2018 is main exam for medical admission. Students must focus on it for medical admission. Here is brief introduction about NEET 2018 exam pattern.

NEET-2018 Application Form

  • Visit the official website http://cbseneet.nic.in .
  • Students can avail via online mode only.
  • Fill all the necessary details like personal, contact, domicile, qualification, etc.
  • Upload the scanned images of photograph, signature and index finger impression in the prescribed format.
  • Make the fee payment using online and offline mode.
  • Candidates have to pay the application fee of Rs. 1500/- (for General and OBC) and Rs. 750/- (for SC/St and PH).
  • The fee payment can be made via online mode (debit or credit card).
  • The e-challan of Syndicate, SBI, ICICI Bank or HDFC bank available.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must be an Indian citizen.
  •  J&K Such candidates are eligible for All India 15% quota only.
  • Aadhaar Card number to apply for NEET exam.
  • Age limit should be 17 years as on or before 31st December to 25 years (for General candidates) and 30 years (for OBC/SC/ST categories) on the date of exam.
  • Candidates from general category may attempt the NEET exam 9 times. Whereas, candidates belong to SC/ST/OBC category, they can attempt the exam 14 times.
  • The exam will be bilingual.

Qualification:

  • 10+2 appearing students are also eligible to apply.
  • Candidates should have qualified 12th or equivalent exam.
  • Subjects should be Chemistry, Physics, Biology/Biotechnology with English as a compulsory subject.
  •  students should have obtained at least 50% marks for general, 45% marks for general-PH and 40% marks for SC/ST & OBC in PCB Group

NEET 2018 Counseling

  • NEET 2018 Counseling will be conducted via online mode only. Applicants can check a complete procedure of NEET 2018
  • Mock counseling will also be conducted online before the final allotment is given to all applicants for helping them to refine the selection of colleges and courses of the applicants.
  • The applicant will be provided seats on the basis of ranking factor
  • Applicant needs to report to allotted institute after he gets seats allotted
  • Applicants need to verify document and pay fees after fee allotment.
  • The mode of counseling depends on the states.

NEET 2018 Result

The NEET Result will be declared by CBSE on June 2018 on http://cbseneet.nic.in .Candidates can check result of NEET 2018 on the official website in month June 2018.For checking results; they need to fill up registration numbers and exams roll numbers. Applicant needs to download result for counseling.
