CBSE announced Board exam back and three Indian languages compulsory for CBSE class X students.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) made decisions Board exam back and three Indian languages compulsory for CBSE class X students.

Board exams for Class X are set to become compulsory for all CBSE students from 2017-2018 as CBSE’s governing body members and HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar approved a proposal in this regard sources told PTI in New Delhi.

Currently, it is optional for CBSE students to choose either the board exam or a school-based examination.

The Ministry of Human Resource and Development has announced that the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) for medical institutes will be held in regional languages in 2017. The Ministry of Human Resource and Development by the HRD Minister, Gujarat Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasamhas assured that the NEET for medical institutes will be held in regional languages in 2017. Regional languges are Marathi, Hindi, Aasami, Gujarati, Bengali, Tamil and telagu .
